USPTO Offers Fast-Track Patent Applications for Independent Inventors

David Kappos has announced that the USPTO will fast-track patent applications for small to mid-sized entities (which includes independent inventors) as a part of his overall patent office reform.  To get on the fast track, you need to swap out an old application that has yet to be examined.  Click to read more about this USPTO change.
